The compelling series 24 Hours To Kill comes to CBS Reality May 14th at 9pm.

This acclaimed series, presented by Dyanne Connor follows the final hours of Irish murder victims and tries to explain the sequence of events which resulted in their deaths. Using evidence and investigators' first-hand accounts, these murders are reconstructed to show how the assailants prepared to kill and their motives.

Ireland's murder rate is amongst the highest in Europe, with an average of one person a week being killed. Six of these brutal crimes are shared in this series, which includes some of the greatest infamous murder trials in history.

Many of those who died at the hands of Ireland's most violent killers led typically normal lives until an unforeseen chain of events conspired resulting in them making history. Love affairs, family feuds, violent lovers and abduction form some of the background to these shocking cases of jealousy, hatred, greed and ultimately, murder.

In the first episode, 24 Hours To Kill takes us back to 1991 when Lesley Howell and Trevor Buchannan were found dead in what appeared to be a suicide pact. However twenty years later, in a shocking story shrouded in lies, deceit and infidelity, a former lay preacher and his mistress were found guilty for what many believe was the perfect murder.
